Incoming master’s-degree leadership and doctoral students participate in the three-day leadership experience to launch their scholarship journey. More than an orientation seminar about logistics, the immersion is an intensive opportunity for students to closely examine the leaders they want to become and the changes they hope to make in health care.

Physician assistant, family nurse practitioner and nursing students from the School of Nursing join medical students to host the fifth annual event developed to increase understanding of health outcomes of Sacramento’s vulnerable populations.
