Undergraduate scholars interested in cancer research will deepen their knowledge of cancer science, broaden their awareness of careers in the field, and build relationships with leaders in the scientific community. CURE is a two-year training program in cancer research for diverse UC Davis undergraduates in their junior and senior years. The goal is to encourage scholars to enter the professional pipeline in cancer research as physicians, veterinarians or scientists.
Motivated undergraduate college students, with demonstrated interest in research in the health sciences learn through research opportunities under the supervision and mentorship of pathology faculty. Internships take place in laboratories on the UC Davis campus in Davis and on the UC Davis Health campus in Sacramento.
