Doctor of Nursing Practice — Family Nurse Practitioner Program 

Three years

The postbaccalaureate Doctor of Nursing Practice — Family Nurse Practitioner (D.N.P.-F.N.P.) degree program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing prepares new family nurse practitioners. A three-year hybrid program that combines distanced-based education with four on-campus immersions, our D.N.P.-F.N.P. program prepares advanced practice providers to engage in patient- and family-centered, evidence-based primary care.

D.N.P. — Nurse Anesthesia

Doctor of Nursing Practice — Nurse Anesthesia Program

In development

The postbaccalaureate Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) — Nurse Anesthesia Degree Program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is currently in development. This program will prepare critical care nurses to become new Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). The school seeks to develop a three-year hybrid program that combines distanced-based education with on-campus immersions.

Four years

The full-time doctoral program prepares you to lead in health care, health policy, and education and research at the university level. Your future career path could be in research, education, government organizations or health administration.

12-month hybrid program

This multicampus, postgraduate certification program is a 12-month hybrid program to prepare new psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) and increase the mental health providers workforce across California.

Health professions education

Health Professions Educator Graduate Academic Certificate Program

Three quarters concurrent with degree program

Graduate nursing students with an interest in education may apply for this certificate program to prepare to teach in prelicensure nursing and other health professions programs. Graduates are eligible to apply for Certification for Nurse Educators.
